ohdearrrr . 176BIZ disbanded , didnt realise, all the while was thinking it was just a rumour.
BUT, i searched the net yesterday and found this. ): I've always like 176BIZ songs other than Gazette. Their disbanding really made me feel like - wtf? .
176BIZ, a band who since 2006 for about three years, kept going non-stop, had their final live on March 16th at Tokyo’s Shibuya O-WEST.
From more than 1000 requests for advance order tickets, the enthusiasm from the 600 or so people who gained admission to live escalated from the preinitiation to the climax.
The live featured an SE with fond memories, plus a screen that displayed a montage of photos of the members, and one by one they came out on stage. Each time the live house was completely filled with excited cheers.
The first song they played was 「メイヴィの碧い真珠」 (Meivi no aoi Shinju) which appeared on their first full album, 『アトリエ』 (Atelier). Their musical performance was even more powerful than usual, and vocalist Aota Yuu’s clean and tender singing voice enveloped the live house.
Placing each of their own emotions into their music, and with an MC half way through, the band played a total of twenty-four songs comprising of new and old, mixing in everything from intenese to medium paced numbers.
In the middle of the show, Aota Yuu called to the fans, “Let’s unite as one!” “Show me your very best smile!”, and when the entire hall became wrapped with enthusiasm and smiles, he said, “The love from each of the members is packed into this song!” and announced at their last piece would be 「-AquA-」.
When the song was over Yuu said, “Everyone, let’s end this united as one!” and all of the members joined hands, and jumped.
“This scene, is something that I will never forget! Thank you very much!”.
In a live house that was filled with “love” and “smiles”, 176BIZ, who had been active for the past three years, closed the curtain on their final performance.
Together with three years of gratitude, the member’s feelings that they requested from the stage were, “The proof that 176BIZ lived, is an unforgettable thing that will never fade”.
The love from the fans that supported them. For the three years of activity, they truly thank
